What he’s good at:
Writing: it’s in his blood (at primary school he wrote and illustrated his first book: Drakular – a very scary story). Fundraising: he’s proud to have helped raise millions. Big strategic thinking: he rebranded BUPA from being about sickness to being about health and won a planning awards gold in the process. He came up with the idea being used to re-position the RSPB from being about birds to being about world scale conservation. He launched Microsoft in the UK… yes once upon a time no-one had heard of them! Simon Frank has made a career of out-thinking the opposition more often than outspending.
